This past April, the Quiet Valley Quilters lost a very dear friend. Mary Hawkes Kohler held many positions in the guild and participated in many activities such as quilt shows, learning, teaching, mentoring, designing raffle quilts and opening her home to hand quilters.
Mary had a special exhibit of 25 quilts at the 2019 Bennington Quiltfest. This year her children and some of the members of the Quiet Valley Quilters are sharing their memories of Mary and her Quilts.
